CUSTOM HOME dESIGN

THE STUDIO

PYK Architect is a Portland-based firm which specializes in residential architecture in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 2024 by Paul Komarinets, the firm was built around a straightforward idea: clients deserve to work directly with a licensed architect, and the process of designing a home should be honest, straightforward, and transparent.

PYK designs custom homes, spec homes, and multifamily residential - townhomes, duplexes, and small apartments. Every project delivers the same three things: drawings you can build from, honest communication throughout, and and a design tailored to each client.

The firm is a solo practice. The person you meet with is the person designing your home, from first sketch through permit. Concept, drafting, drawings, and permit coordination all stay in-house, and no work is passed to outside drafters or production teams. That keeps decisions clear, responses fast, and accountability on one person.

PYK Architect is licensed in Oregon and Washington, and is available to work on residential architecture across the Pacific Northwest.
